*ALERT* Anyone that does Taxes DO NOT open any program that has SSN in it, from what I have seen it opens when you open software that has SSN in it, I work for a Tax Software Company and seen a lot of my customers have this on their PCs, so if you do any kind of taxes and you see the icon on your desktop DO NOT OPEN the tax software till it's removed.
This is a virus program. Takes over your computer. DO NOT install, it will slow down your computer and you can not remove it. BEWARE. I do not know how this program got on my computer but I am having a difficult time removing it.
Just type strongvault into google and you'll see the dozens of results "how do I get rid of strongvault virus?". The monsters that made this hid it in a DLC packet for a videogame, and now I get a pop-up about once a minute.
Don't touch this software, it's adware/spyware, it will give tons of pop-ups, and tons of spyware software all of a sudden invaded my computer after this was (somehow) installed.
Strongvault presents themselves as a legitimate company but their behavior screams adware/spyware/hijackware. If you install this and then figure out how to get it to stop bombarding you with ads even after you have done everything you can do to remove their infestation please let the rest of us know. Just going the uninstall route will not even slow the ads down. If you do manage to locate some of the files they usually cannot be deleted. I receive a cannot be deleted because the file is open in another program. This cannot be detected by Task Manager no can the file be located & closed by other means. This is a common ploy used by such similar infestations as Claro Search and Incredibar both adware/spyware/hijackware programs with no redeeming virtue. If Strongvault is a legitimate service the management needs to abandon it's present methods which are nothing but the lowest form of opportunistic manipulation.
